Learning about clean and safe boating, best practices, and ways to mitigate negative impacts individuals have on the surrounding environment will put you securely and confidently on your way to enjoying all that California has to offer!
And all of that enjoyment starts near you, for free and with experts. Through Dockwalker Trainings and Aquatic & Invasive Species Workshops offered by the California Division of Boating and Waterways, the California Coastal Commission and partners this spring/summer.
In addition to becoming a better boater and fisher there’s plenty to gain from attending a session.
The Dockwalker Program is a fantastic way to; interact with boaters, keep California’s marinas, waterways, and ocean clean and healthy, stay you up-to-date on federal and state laws, and you receive educational materials that you can share with others.
