I firmly believe in everything you've been saying, about always believing the victim. I'm a queer woman who has received rape threats in the past due to my sexuality and it hurt that people weren't willing to believe me. ALWAYS believe the victim, or victims will simply not come forward. I also study law and I've spotted a massive problem in reconciling the 'innocent until proven beyond reasonable doubt guilty' of the accused rapist, and always believing the victim. Do you have any ideas?

Always believing the victim doesn't mean throw every accused person in jail. It just means we need to create an environment where everyone feels safe to report assaults.
