Bob Fried a été l’un des grands graphistes de l’ère psychédélique. Il a dessiné un grand nombre d’affiches pour les concerts de la baie de San Francisco, pour Grateful Dead, Bleu Cheer, Canned Heat, ou Steppenwolf (entre autres) après avoir rencontré Rick Griffin. Il a fait partie de “Family Dog”, principale association d’artistes graphiques de la baie en 1967/1968. Il est mort en 1975. Voici un exemple de son art, intitulé Taj Mahal (1967)
Bob Fried was one of the great graphic designers of the psychedelic era. He drew a lot of posters for San Francisco Bay concerts, for Grateful Dead, Bleu Cheer, Canned Heat, or Steppenwolf (among others) after meeting Rick Griffin. He was part of "Family Dog", the main graphic artists' association of the Bay in 1967/1968. He died in 1975. Here is an example of his art, entitled Taj Mahal (1967)
