Talvez você já tenha ouvido essa música, ou talvez não. Ela era um dos hits da coletânea Rap Brasil 2. Bob Rum mandava esse som que tem letra de samba (conta historia, tem final triste) mas pegada de funk carioca. Um clássico. 

Aí descobri hoje, que ano passado, o Daniel Haaksman fez uma versão dessa música, e nem de longe faz juz à original. Se quiser ouvir, é só clicar no link aê.

Sabe, eu tenho uma teoria que tem música que simplesmente não merece versão, reedição, remix, etc. Essa é uma delas.

Bob Rum - Rap do Silva (live at Furacão 2000) Once again, the original Rap do Silva, this time performed live by Bob Rum. During the Rio Carnival this year, I heard Monobloco perform their samba version of "Rap do Silva" out in the street, and it looked like this (starts around 3:08). Now there's a new version of the song made in Germany... which they have named "Rap DA Silva" instead of "Rap DO Silva".

Bob Rum - Rap do Silva I'm all for sampling, remixing and remaking old songs but I also think that the sources of the samples and ideas deserve to be known by people. I mean, for example this song, Rap do Silva, is well-known in Brazil, but not here in Europe. Now there's a new track by the German producer/dj Daniel Haaksman titled "Rap do Silva" (featuring Bani Silva) that is basically a remake of this Bob Rum's song and people might think it's original. And it's a shame because people should also know about Bob Rum and his track which in fact still is damn good. New cats should show RESPECT to the ones they're following.
