A gorgeous, forgotten folk music gem.

A friend tipped me off to this largely unknown Scottish folk singer. His album came out in 1982, but sounds more like a lost recording from the early 1970s. It has hints of psychedelic rock and progressive rock and there's no attention paid to trends of the early 1980s. I'm happy that I can still find old music that is unknown to me, but I'm sad that an album like this fell through the cracks and is still hard to find.

It also works as accompaniment to my current reading, Nan Shepherd's The Living Mountain. More on that book later...
