how would Bob 2 and Alan react/treat Bob 1 when they find out hes pregnant? ..and would Mark and Jerry know??
I just know that Bob2 would be over the moon when Bob1 tells them that he's pregnant. He's a family man and kids were always something that he wanted in the future but he never really knew how to bring it up to either of his boyfriends. Alan is just as excited but soon starts to develop concerns about all the things that could go wrong during the pregnancy, resulting in him becoming all the more protective of Bob1 who has to constantly assure him that everything is okay. (Alan typically doesn't worry much about anything but he loves his Bobs so much and sometimes that love can breed anxieties over huge life changes like that)
Bob1 does not really enjoy being pampered or coddled in any way and while the guys do their best to respect that, they still can't help but come running everytime they hear a worrying noise or insist that they help Bob1 with something no matter how much he insists that he's fine. At first, it does admittedly bother him and he constantly argues back. ("I'm fine! I can handle it! Leave me alone!") But over time he realizes that those two really are doing it out of love and so he eventually lightens up and even grows to like all the extra attention he's getting. After all, extra cuddles from Alan and Bob2 are never a bad thing.
As far as Mark and Jerry are concerned, I imagine that Mark picks up on it right away as a weird brotherly bond type thing (Being the eldest brother, he probably became very skilled at sensing when his siblings are in need of help or something's changed about them in any way.) And while it's initially a shock, he also recognizes that he can't criticize Bob1 for it because he and Jerry already have their own baby together by that point. Jerry however is Jerry so when he does figure it out, he's irritated and keeps going off about how kids aren't part of their plan as DEVO and how irresponsible and selfish this all is. Eventually he calms down but not witout a.) A healthy dose of admonishment from Mark and b.) Being reminded multiple times that he and Mark already broke that rule when they became dads themselves.
Basically to summarize everyone's reaction to the pregnancy: Bob2 is delighted, Alan is equally delighted but also cautious, Mark is surprised but ultimately accepting and Jerry is surprised, initially peeved but eventually settles into acceptance... Also Jerry just can't be upset about anything that makes Bob2 that darn happy.
