Kara smiles at the boy and reaches down pulling him into a hug. “Because you are my kid, so is Alice. I’m not going to give you up just because you’re not mine biologically, that’s not what family is. If I send you off just because you’re not mine by birth what would that say about me? That I don’t care about family or promises that I make? Because I do care about those things, and they’re very important which means that no matter what you’re like a son to me and nothing’s gonna change that.” She ruffles his hair. “You’re not just Leo, you’re a talented artist in training and part of my family just like Dante is.”

Movie night XD

Send “movie night” for 3 films I could see our muses watching together

For some reason I see Hunter as liking the classics and being a bit appalled that Kara has only really seen nerdy movies with Fitz nothing else. So here’s the list of what I can see him sitting her down to see after they’ve interacted more so she’d be educated about humanity or something like that.

Die Hard- Because it’s seasonal and just a good movie.

Gone in 60 seconds- Because Hunter would be able to point out all the different cars and would feel cool that he can identify them even though Kara’s not really that interested.

James Bond- No idea which one but I can totally see Hunter liking it and wanting to educate the alien about it.

*throws a pillow at Kara {{because I think they could get into an epic pillow fight}}*

The hunter looks up from her book catching a flicker in the corner of her eye. It had been a long day and she was not surprised that the vampire seemed to be bored given all the research she had been doing. Catching sight of the pillow Kara snatches the pillow out of the air looking at him slightly confused before rolling over and scooping one of the other ones off the nearby bed her competitive instincts rising to the surface as she whips the small throw pillow at the vampire keeping the other for herself. It might not be her usual training but anytime she could work on fighting in any way seemed worth it to her, and besides after all this time researching she needed to stretch a little.

"WHAT ARE THOSE?"

Kara looks down at the tiny balls of fur that were nestled in the jacket she had just removed to be able to wrap up the critters and takes a second to look at them more closely. “I think they are kittens, not quite sure. They are a little small and not all bouncy like kittens usually seem to be.”

"Um... I have food and I really need to get in that closet or peppers gonna have my head for being late to the office again?"

“Of course sorry.” Kara steps aside right away then looks at him for a moment wondering if it was that she was so tired or if there was some other reason that his words seemed a bit confusing. “So are you putting the food in the closet, or is it a portal to your work.” She asks stifling a little bit of a yawn, she had been up late the night before and her brain was a little fuzzy from lack of sleep.

Elin is crazy, she's planning on going back to Vanaheim and killing every last person in the kingdom.

“I see, so I suppose in that case my sister will need backup…. My dear anon why look so surprised? You seem to think that would change something or make me turn on her. You forget that I have no love for our kind and would not cry if the people were no longer there. I may attempt to quell her rage slightly so that those who are the most innocent are allowed to survive, but apart from that I suppose that we would both have fun.”

Head cannon: it's Christmas and Dean doesn't have a present to give so he buys her booze

Kara smiles at the hunter a grin on her face as she pulls a six pack out of the bag next to her and slides it across the table to him. “Guess we both had the same idea.” She jokes gesturing to the alcohol. “Hunter’s best friend this is, next to a truck full of weapons. Fancy joining me for a while? I’m sure the TV has a pile of specials on and not much will be moving in this snow.” She gestures outside to the storm glad she had ran into the other hunter on this hunt and had happened to end up in the same horrible roadside motel. It was a great time to catch up on what had happened since they had last spoke.
