Apocalypse
@marvel-fiction
Kasuna knelt down as he slowly shuffled through the wreckage on the highway, his ears perked listening to even the slightest hint of any zombies around. He kept close to the cars just in case he needed to scurry underneath one and hide from them. He cursed himself for not thinking he would need some of his guns for this run but he knew he would have to travel light, but so far he found nothing that would be useful. He suddenly heard a small cry, he tensed for a moment, and listened close as he crept over to where the noise and noticed a young girl with blonde hair hunched over her shoulders shaking.
He made a psst noise trying to get her attention, not wanting to be too loud just in case she was a zombie and if there were any around. He picked up a rock then threw it at her, it hit the ground next to her and he silently waited for her reaction.
I kinda wish I had a girlfriend for Kasuna XD it would be nice to do some fluff and stuff like that. The only girls in his life are his sister, an oc of mine, Savannah, who is his daughter-no thank you that’s just...no, and Kara, a hunter who is probably in her young teens while Kasuna is 20, again...no.
So I have adhd combined type. And I'm in College but I can't figure out what mayor I want to do. I get obsessed with things but never for longer than a year. And I know this so I don't know what to get into cause I'll just loose interest later. What do I do?
Is there something that you keep coming back to, or something that is maybe a broader scope than your obsessions tend to be? I did music with a major in composition because it was interesting and I liked writing music. The bonus is that I was able to incorporate a variety of interests into the composition degree, and I could often just write a piece for whatever instrument caught my interest at the time. Even with something like a history degree, you can take courses in different eras and then for your thesis write about something that really caught your interest. (That’s why my father has a history degree for which his thesis was about the Taiping Rebellion/Heavenly Kingdom. That’s the bit he was most interested in at the time.)

Since I did the study-things-I-like thing and it turned out to not work out so well for actually getting a job, I’m going to disagree with J here. Your education does not end when you get your college degree. Lots of adults study the things they’re interested in on their own, in their spare time. I can’t even list how many things I’ve learned about after college merely because I was interested in a topic.
I recommend that you find an occupation that you would like to do—a field that would offer opportunities for advancement and variety or a field that would allow you to start out working for others but perhaps start your own business someday. Whatever you choose, make sure you won’t end up bored or stuck doing the exact same thing for forty years. Furthermore, make sure you don’t pick an occupation in a dying field, like print journalism or sociology. Perhaps you could take this interest inventory and explore your options.

Well, I never said I got a job that uses my music degree. My work life has been either working with autistic children or doing office work, for the most part. Never went to school for either profession. And my dad is an Anglican priest, so he did graduate studies to get into that field but his undergrad has nothing to do with what he does for a living. :)
I think a lot of it also depends, as you see in our disparate responses, on what you’re pursuing an education for. If you’re doing school just to do school, my advice is fine; if, however, you’re hoping to end up with a skillset that will get you a job later on, you should probably listen to Elise. :)

Former muse:
“Waking up to the sound of your neighbour having sex is not only disturbing but depressing. I don’t need to be reminded that my love life is non existent.”
Yes, I played Chandler for a bit and lets pretend he’s not saying that to a kid lol

For every “✖” I get, my Muse’s “Darkening Meter” will rise by 10%, driving them more and more insane! If you get them to 100%, you get a small drabble of their final moments before being completely enveloped!

The agent looks over at her roommate a small smile on her face as she considers her next mission. She usually kept herself from saying things about her future plans to the other girl for fear of scaring her but this time it seemed right. “So I’m going to need to go off for a week for training and it might be a bit tricky to contact me, want to watch a horror movie since this is my last night here for a little while? Get a few scares in before I go?”
Once you get this, you have to say five things you like about yourself, publicly, then send this to 10 of your favourite followers (non-negotiable) (positivity is cool💖🌸) <3
Even more...come on this is the last one I can do this.
1) I can french braid my hair behind my head.
2) I’m not really scared of much.
3) I am decent at faking being social
4) I can catch things I drop some of the times
5) I can make lists apparently.
Here’s my Secret Santa Science Bros for the lovely @marvel-fiction as part of the art/writing trade of @sciencebrosweek
This was my first time trying out digital art on my tablet, so it was a bit of an adventure for me. I hope you enjoy it!
