Thank you for sharing your views as well. I wish you prosperity in the future, and hope that you help to bring integrity and intellect back into journalism. Media nowadays is a perversion of what it used to be, and the need for honest, factually correct and relevant reporting has, in my opinion, been largely unheeded. Again, good luck in the wide world! Perhaps one day we will meet unwittingly and divulge in greater detail our ideologies! I could use more intellectually stimulating conversation.

I hope I do too, I've always been a huge advocate for honesty, and truthful information that isn't bogged down with selfish opinions/viewpoints. Even though it is, technically, the worst job to have. And it makes me a target for a large number of groups and/or people. But I suppose if you have a bunch of people trying to hide the information you're providing, then you're doing something right. 

Yes, hopefully we will cross paths. My life is highly diluted with inane small talk, an actual stimulating conversation would be lovely sometime. I wish you the best as well, friend. Cheers. [:

Like yourself, I have a great love of astrology and find the immensity of space so utterly captivating, that to focus on the problems of a flawed society seems really silly and a bit pretentious. Our planet is a microcosm within a very grand and beautiful macrocosm, and I personally believe in holistic theory, where study the individual parts just doesn't make sense. The big picture, as they say. And what a picture it is, eh? You and I are very alike in this, as well as how we deal with others.

It is a bit pretentious, but I am still highly concerned about our fellow humans, as well as earth, and eco-system[s]. Though I do feel there need to be ridiculously large changes to be made, for anything substantially good to happen. I'm a believer in biocentrism here on Earth, and I feel this is highly influenced by my understanding of how very small we are compared to the 'big picture'. 

That is good to know we are alike. Many people I meet think me beyond odd for being so enamoured with the wonders of our lovely universe. Thank you for sharing your views. It's good to know I can identify with you.

Have you had to deal with narrow-minded people on this blog? How did you handle them? By the way, congrats on making radar and keep up the good work. I love this blog!

Uhm, I have, a few small times. Thankfully, I haven't had too many rude run-ins as some of my fellow tumblr-friends have. But I've definitely had my share of people trying to prove me wrong based on, usually, misunderstood/misconstrued points. It comes with a territory I suppose, especially as a loud science, non-religious person, with strong opinions. 

I handle them the same as I handle the people that I come across in real life in basically the same situations. I treat them as respectfully as I would want to be treated in return, as well as being logical, and factual. I don't like arguing with people who are steadfast in ignorance due to narrow-mindedness, unless I have proper sources to back up my facts, especially if they're being rude/dismissive. Not only because I am an open science lover, but due to my political viewpoints, religious/non-religious viewpoints, and even due to my personal eating habits, I get constantly called out - not only online, but in real life. I usually win arguments, because these people are usually calling me out to be snarky because our personal opinions/views happen to clash. And they think because our views oppose, they should take my own personal opinions a bit too personally.

Not too long ago, I actually got a pretty presumptuous, and seemingly arrogant ask from an anon that you can read here.

Like I said, I just try to be respectful, logical, and factual. I don't think getting overly upset is worth it, and I have a ridiculous amount of patience for obnoxious people.
