This was definitely a unique year.

Asahi's line has started to shine and get the attention it deserved and you started to take your first steps in your dream.

And while this was amazing for the two of you it also meant that the alone time was little now.

Instead of constant fancy dates or picnics you both started to enjoy a pizza delivery and a movie while cuddling, and instead of dressing up you two enjoyed wearing the comfiest clothes you own which also meant you stole Asahi's sweatshirts all the time.

But this also meant that you two and especially Asahi would travel for business alot and near the end of the year he was away in new york promoting for his line.

Which meant that he missed Daichi's birthday and he had to text him apologising multiple times for missing it for the first time in years,

But it also meant that he will spend his 27th alone,

Which he was ok with really,

Or maybe not.

Asahi was good at pretending that he was ok, it was an act he mastered,

And he wasn't going to let his partner nor his friends know that's he's sad about that,

I mean he is turning 27 he mustn't act like a child who's friends won't come to his birthday part,

He was away for work, his dreams were coming true, he was in New York he shouldn't be upset,

But he was.

And he was a little more upset because you haven't been answering his calls but with 14 hours difference he thought maybe you were at work or busy with friends preparing for the new year party

11:55 am

Asahi sighed looking outside of his hotel window letting the cold air hit his face

"I don't need someone to celebrate with I am an adult and in few days I will be back in Tokyo and everything will be back to normal"

He kept repeating that to himself until he heard knocking on the door, it was weird because he didn't order anything and it's also too late now

Not to be anymore rude Asahi decided to answer the door

His jaw dropped when he saw you looking beautiful dressed up with a wide smile on your face

"surprise Asahi"

"y..y/n what are you?"

"I wouldn't miss your birthday and new year with you right? The guys helped me pay for the ticket too"

"you're really here?" Asahi said pulling you closer for a hug

"yes dummy and kiss me instead I missed you"

12:00 am

"happy birthday Asahi" you broke from the kiss as you heard the fireworks starting gently putting his hair behind his ear

"happy new year y/n i love you"

"I love you more Asahi"

And the two of you spent the next few minutes looking at the fireworks enjoying the warmth of each other after days spent apart

And Asahi's worries were a past now

So it's not the very best but i wanted to post something about asahi's birthday

Okeeey then here I am with a request/statement:

I have this headcanon about asahi. Asahi is absolutely handy with animals. Doesn't matter if cats, dogs, birds etc. Even if they are nervous around him he just sits down and gives chill vibes so he can pet almost every animal immediately 😄

Idk of there a different hc which says otherwise

I think Asahi's calm aura makes most animals attracted to him

Idk if you watched fruits basket it's just how kyo gets the cats all over him

And when this happened to him at first he was scared because he was still a tiny baby and having few cats and a dog try to sniff you and follow you can be scary

But as he grew up he got used to it and he even started to approach some animals that seem scared to meet new humans

Whenever he found an animal that could have had a painful past full of unforgiving human beings he would rush to the nearest store and get them food and water

He will offer his hand so they can smell it and get used to him then give them the food and water

He won't leave until he makes sure they're finished,

Probably sometimes when he finds an animal that is really badly hurt he will take them to a vet and when he can't afford to pay for it poor baby will blame himself :(

He will probably then start thinking about having a part time job so he can help more animals

Somehow with the experience of being with animals for so long Asahi can kind of understand how the little animal feels if he's nervous or scared or comfortable

And Asahi is always down to have dates with his partner where they sit and pet animals

when you're on your period

Am i writing this because i am on my period in pain and the weather is so cold that i need to cuddle someone so i write this to get rid of that feeling... Maybe hope you enjoy

Asahi doesn't keep track of your period but when the time come he knows

He can sense you being uncomfortable all the time from the pain

He can also sense the mood swings

Because you're not yourself when your period comes and so he prepares himself

Your usual cravings are already in the shelf/ fridge

He has movies ready/ animes anything you would want to watch

And also he has a blanket

Sometimes you would cuddle up on the couch blanket around you both but mostly you with something playing on the tv and snacks on the table

If you're feeling pain he would ask where and gently rub that place with his hand while his other arm wraps around you, his head leaning on yours giving you kisses on your forehead, temples, cheeks and sometimes on the mouth because he can't help himself

But when it gets really really bad and all you want to do is curl in bed and hope the pain would stop or you stop excisting whichever comes first he is also there

He will be read to hug you, run the hand on your back drawing circles in hope to ease the pain

He will be ready with painkillers if you need

And when you feel the bed sink in next to you, you move closer to him immediately seeking heat and comfort

You lay your head on his chest while he does his best to comfort you while running his hand through your hair and back

He will talk about anything and everything to keep your mind away from the pain and he would whisper sweet nothings to you and sometimes make you blush like alot

And when you fall asleep he'll tuck you in and get ready to sleep but after giving you a kiss and wishing you goodnight

And if walking is your thing to get rid of the pain he will take you to so many places

Each time a different place

A hike, a park he discovered or to a cafe he found on his way to work and even tho it's a little far he'll walk there with you wearing his most comfortable shoes

And he would be with you through the whole thing until you finally get better

A fic for asahi's birthday

Asahi azumane is anxious, and that's ok

But the term anxious was never known to him at first

Ever since he was a child anxious was always replaced with shy

To his parents Asahi Azumane was always shy and it was ok, but not for him

He never settled with that term, never liked it.

The smallest situation will increase his heart rate by a beat or two, his breathing would get too fast too quickly as if he was in a dangerous situation, as if someone was running behind him with a weapon or a ghost.

it always gave him the feeling that he should run, that he should hide.

And it would do that whenever he had to talk to new people, whenever he had to speak in front of the class, and whenever kids would whisper and look at him and giggle.

He would get it whenever he had to state his opinion, his wants and needs deciding to stay quiet better than being judged or met with a laugh, being turned down or ignored.

His mother's friends were too talkative for his liking and whenever they put him under the spotlight he wished he would disappear.

 

Asahi Azumane was a shy kid

He always heard that but it always made him uncomfortable

Because shy seemed a very small word to the feeling he would get, to what his body makes him go through.

Shy was never linked with the words run and hide that he always felt

Shy was what his parents replaced for anxious, and that wasn't ok

Because Asahi Azumane is an anxious kid never a shy one

But for now Asahi Azumane was only shy.

since my birthday is in three days and my mood today is good because i got my grades and they were good so today i give you asahi headcanons

Asahi on your birthday

Since you always make asahi's day special he made it his mission to make this day special for you no matter what

Also since his birthday is literally the first day on the year you're always on break from work and make it till midnight where you surprise him every year

But since yours is in a usual day he makes it his mission for you two to stay up until midnight

He'll start planning for your birthday two weeks a head making sure he has everything right

He'll take notes everytime you say you want or love something so he can have a variety of things to choose from

He'll cuddle with you and treat you to your favorite things the day of your birthday and the day before

He'll give you lots of kisses

As long as your face is near him he'll shower you with kisses

He'll make sure to make you your favorite food watch your favorite anime/movies

When the clock hits midnight he'll give you your gifts and a kiss

He'll say i love you alot

And makes sure to let you know that the day you were born was the best day in his life

did i mention cuddles because he will never let you out of it until you tell him that you seriously have to go to the bathroom

This feels messy but you get asahi best partner you'll ever have

a/n i am sorry it's 42°c here again and i think the heat wave is making me depressed

I probably said this before but imo Asahi's self doubt didn't start because of the date tech match

I think it was with him since the start

Maybe the match just triggered it or maybe the match was his breaking point

I think the problem lays in Asahi's family

They're not necessarily abusive emotionally

But they're always stressing him out over grades, not being able to have the future job they want, not going to the school they want etc

And it was even harder for him in his third year especially that Suga and Daichi had everything figured out and he didn't

And they reminded him of that

And i totally didn't just expose myself haha anyways moving on

His appearance played a huge role too

Only the girls and the boys in class knew who he really was

But the rest boy oh boy

Other than the rumors they were spreading about him in karasuno and in other schools

People would always avoid him

Avoid being in his way, looking at him they would just look down and walk away in fear

And that hurt him

He was reminded all the time that he looked scary

And scary was his least favorite adjective now

He didn't have much good romantic experiences

and here i will be talking as asanoya isn't there or any other ship ok

He would get manipulated and used

Because one he thinks good of people

And two he allows the monster inside his head to make him the bad guy

Allowing all types of people to hurt him as much as they like

But don't you fear because yes he would be broken but his friends would always defend him and never leave his side

He will eventually find the love he deserves but he had to go through alot to get there

And at the end Asahi worked on himself worked on his anxiety his monster abd his demons

And he beat them all

They come back from time to time but he never lets them take control of him ever again
