In 1977 Sarajevo was awarded the 1984 Winter Olympics, the track was completed in 1982 and saw up to 50,000 spectators during the games. However in the years after the Yugoslav wars saw the track damaged as the result of a siege. Today it is covered in both war wounds and graffiti...take a look.
