So we were headed to a lake a week ago to cool off after a hot day hiking around the desert and randomly stumbled across the Lightning in a Bottle festival grounds. The building process of the crystal table, by far the most work I've put into any area of the bus so far. It symbolizes the heart chakra of the entire project and will glow green at night with glow powder like a phosphorescent tidal pool. I wanted to create a sacred focal point around the burl table where food is blessed and artwork is created. After the final coat it will be a time capsule containing shells, crystals, fossils and stones from all my previous trips around the world. Embodying the ocean, the ether, the organic and the fire of the universe.
