“Don’t patronize me, Ulric. We are men as we are enemies, are we not? Speak your mind,” Ravus began in a wolfish snarl, shoulders squared as he circled the Glaive like the predator he so was, the war wolf with hackles raised and poised to strike if need be. But, that was hardly so. He was always bristling, always consumed in hate and anger that ate at him like acid. “Of how I damn my sister by my position in the army. That I am no better than them.” Mismatched eyes narrowed and glowered harder before stopping short of the other man. “Say it.”
Nyx remained tight lipped even as the other drew near. His jawline twitched, not hiding his misguided contempt towards the man. He made sure his sharp gaze looked straight into those mismatched eyes (so unlike hers...) to let him see the fire, frustration and regret... anger. The two men sized each other up, the tension between them reached its peak.
“I’ve made it my last mission to keep her alive.” said Nyx, his voice low and quiet and dangerous, eyes blazing. “But you fed her back to the dogs.”

Implacable and mightily corrosive, vexation promptly slips its faulty leash. It sets vigilant eyes ablaze, and palpably suffuses coherent speech. ❝ How do you JUSTIFY helping the very same people who'd rather see your sister DEAD? Does family mean nothing to you? ❞

“Well. you’ve been walking from one end to the other for half an hour now so it’s either being lost or being impatient or worried. Out of them all the first one seamed most logical since the castle is huge, I would not be surprised if a guest would get lost. In fact that happens all too often here.” Aaria replied with a light bow of her head to greet the other and a kind hearted smile on her face.
Man was tall and wore a white get up. A one by all means not on anyone from Lucis, none that she knew at least. No surprise to her tho. the peace treaty was to be signed in the few upcoming days so since White was usually the color of Nifleheim officials or Tenebrae that was under that empire too didn’t make her all too nervous. Probably a bad move tho of being a bit too light hearted in her words to the other then again she always tried to be friendly regardless of who she spoke to given she mostly spent her days in the gardens and people usually came there to relax.
She was on maid duty for now tho since castle staff needed help with receiving their guests from outside the wall and the upcoming ball too. A lot of rushing and excitement was around them but added to that was the concern and worry of how much of that treaty could be trusted with.
Holding a stack of fresh sheets she looked at the other. No matter how much she looked at the other something was nagging at her, telling her she had once met this person before. But how? She held back on her reading ability since that might cause trouble for her but none the less stayed.
“Living here most of my life I know the castle well so I can guide you around if there is a specific place you are looking for.“
bodulfr replied to your post: I see I lost a few followers after that last...
some characters are real standouts, and are characterized well to a point, but it really can’t be denied that some literally revolve around the men in their lives (esp if they’re the love interest)
Yuna stands out as well done. I really loved Aranea but DAMN did I hate Cindy and Iris because they were literally just there bc men
bodulfr replied to your post: that being said though, Gladio is also an idiot...
–though he is still extremely intelligent even if rav doesn’t know that since he doesn’t /know/ gladdy 8V
I just mean that yeah he’s intelligent but he also ??? i mean he can be kind of brutish and he has a temper so I see where the assumption comes from lmao. He’s honestly more likely to punch his way out of ???? most situations. Though granted most of the time that’s the only option but like???? GLADDY THERE ARE MORE THINGS YOU CAN DO USUALLY THAN BEATING THE PROBLEM UP and he’s actually ???? relatively good with debate when it’s not something he’s overly passionate and loses his cool over, so I know he could talk a way out but he just???? nah, i’d rather beat it up. ....contradictions. lmao.
