Last night (Aug 21,2015) at the Moonlight Rollerway in Glendale.

Somehow, someway, Ray Ban x Boiling Room threw a FREE rollerskating event with open bar(!). Dam Funk, Snoop Dogg, Daz, DJ Quik and Suga Free (plus some other dude I didn’t know) all performed sets filled with funk, soul, disco, and in DJ Quik’s case, rap.

Dam Funk killed his set, hands down the best of everyone. Suga Free was MC, and no slouch; even performing a few songs during Quik’s set. Sidenote: had to tell him how much I loved “Smell My Finger”, an amazing album that y’all should peep.

By the end of the night, Snoop was on his motorized skateboard just rolling around the rink.

Shit was bomb.
