WE FINALLY HAVE IT! WE HAVE LESBIAN MARINLER! BY FAR AND AWAY THE BETTER VERSION OF THE MARINER/BOIMLER PAIRING! IT FIXES ALL OF THE PROBLEMS WITH MARINLER (specifically, Bernadette’s ridiculous amount of gender dysphoria) AND INTRODUCES NO NEW PROBLEMS.

Marijen thoughts: It’s great! I think it’s better for lower decks canon than marinler. it’s really interesting how for the past year or so jennifer has been developed heavily in the fandom (at least in this one lil discord server), and now we get to see how their relationship actually plays out and what jen is really like. but like... aside from two episodes so far in season 3, we have SO LITTLE about their relationship and it seems like they’re intentionally not wanting to focus directly on it, so the Marinler shippers will ALWAYS have more Content in canon. But also: fuck you marinler worshippers; marijen has had two onscreen kisses, muahahahahaha.
