hello i’m a touch late for the party but i’ve just finished reading the son and heir and i’d like to gush about it for a moment if that’s okay!
basically i just sat here on my couch and cried for 2 hours straight! what a lovely story! what a painful story! the way you wrote remus’ grief for his mother really got to me, the moment where he wants to turn her picture to face out the window??? i had to set the fic aside and cry for a minute.
i love how you’ve written them all so much, i was highlighting every other line just to annotate it with “I love remus” and “I love sirius”
also - small thing - but the line “dog to boy, a record flipped over”??? so good so fun so quintessentially Sirius
anyway the whole thing was devastating and beautifully written, thank you for sharing it with the world! x
hi bab thank you so much! i'm so glad you enjoyed it this was such a sweet ask to receive! in particular writing r's grief for his mother was. well fun seems inappropriate but i really enjoyed it, because he really is this. nineteen year old boy moving between three (technically four) different homes in under a year and the only constant is this framed picture of his dead mother he's carrying around he's just so. he needs a hug so badly my god. anyway anyway before i get offtrack what i mean to say is. thank you bab! i really appreciate it :-) mwah<33
