Since I know you specifically will appreciate this, we've decided that traumatized vampire bride Jan is going to get a feast of his favorite foods on his birthday from Bojan. Including zlikrofi, which are extremely time-consuming to make, and those Vrhnika cookies. Jan eats those cookies somewhere and Bojan notices that he seems to enjoy them and jan admits 'they remind me of home' and suddenly he's getting them as a present

Jan probably literally cries when he sees the birthday feast.

"you did all this - for me? You didn't have to"

"I know I didn't have to," Bojan says. "I wanted to. It's your birthday, I wanted it to be special"

Jan is stunned. "My happiness, what I want, me, that's never mattered before. It was...unnecessary effort."

"You deserve to be happy," Bojan says. "No one should have ever tried to convince you otherwise"
