The toothy Nepenthes bokorensis x (x trusmadiensis), a hybrid tropical pitcher plant.
Nepenthes “thorelii” (bokorensis?) x (x trusmadiensis), one of my favorite of the hybrid Nepenthes pitcher plants.
A seedling Nepenthes holdenii. This is another recently discovered Nepenthes from Cambodia--a cousin of Nepenthes bokorensis. The seeds this particular plant came from were (to the best of my knowledge) the first instance of this species entering cultivation. So far the seedlings have been very vigorous and forgiving, as is typical of Indo Chinese Nepenthes.
Nepenthes bokorensis gained fleeting internet fame when it co-starred in a video called something to the effect of “Cambodian Penis Plant” (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TJkl1OoWtU). Poor N. bokorensis is not just an unfortunately shaped pitcher plant--it’s also one of Cambodia’s few native Nepenthes, and is almost brand new new to science!
