Ur so right about the gj//hm shippers how does everyone turn her into the self insert girlie all the fan art for it makes me double take because. She does not look. Like that. If you get what I mean. It's crazy. She would not talk to that man.

Right?! Perhaps it's because she has such a minor role in jjk. The less you know about a character, the easier it is to project yourself onto them like a blank canvas. I don't want to put all gj//hm art in a box but at least the ones I've seen so far paint an image of uta that is soo far removed from canon, she becomes another character entirely. Yes, that does happen in fandom spaces quite frequently and there is nothing wrong with it - doesn't mean I have to like it. Lol. In the end, as you have said, she probably provides a good opportunity for self insert without calling it self insert. At least we know she would Not talk to that man.

How I feel about this character: love him. rotating him in my mind. He's literally the last boss in Haikyuu - his significance to and his constant presence in the narrative (while having little to no screen time) is astounding. He is so dear to me.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: romantically Iwaizumi of course. I think oisuga is fun. Brazil fling is canon to me, however, oihina beyond Brazil fling is not for me.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: seijoh quartet! Also iwaoi separately for non-romantic - I simply love their friendship. And Brazil duo, of course.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I don't think I have any

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: the fact that he never went to Nationals??? Criminal. I recognize that it makes his part in the Argentinian national team even more impressive and significant but man. Oh, additionally, I just wish he would have had more cameos and more glimpses into his life and career in and post canon.

You know, while all of them are great individually, I don't think any one them are good marriage prospects?? You'll have domestic bliss with Dani (thobm) but will be left a young window. Dany (got) is objectively the best choice because she is powerful, confident and passionate - but she might burn down a city or two and commit a couple of war crimes. Dani (midsommar) - yeah, no. She deserves so much better but holy shit, I won't even go there.
