I headcannon that Bokuto is actually very smart he just has some small learning issues, but either way he was top of his class in some cases. Also the trio of college students that their Hair color is either Gray-ish or the colors can mix to make gray.

They tumble into the dark afternoon, through the overgrown clearing and into the even more overgrown woods with Suga’s voice trailing after them, worried only because he hadn’t seen their faces when they blurred past.  

“Rolling Thunder!”   

Noya’s voice echoes through the air as they suddenly stop, inches from a nearby tree.  The stillness that follows has him giggling almost nervously as it closes in on them.  That almost overwhelming sense of unreality that covers the world now is thicker here, or maybe it’s thinner and reality just trickles through a little faster.  He’s not entirely sure.  He just knows that once the giggles start, once they bubble up and boil over, he can’t stop them.  No matter how hysterical they sound.

Until Bokuto’s laugh fills the air alongside his own and Noya feels Bokuto’s chest shaking with laughter under his fingers.

It’s grounding, lying with his cheek pressed to Bokuto’s chest like this.  Like he’s tethered securely in the storm of the world around them and the smile on his lips when he slides up enough to rain kisses down on Bokuto’s face feels like the realest thing in the world, even more real than the two of them sprawled in the woods.
