Hotaru at age three clinging to akaashi’s leg and never speaking because she’s so shy and quiet. Teeny tiny ponytails on the top of her head and a flowy pink dress are what she usually has. When she’s 6 she meets bokuto because he’s her teacher. she always wants to be the teacher’s pet bc she loves him so much. akaashi becomes a tad bit concerned when his shy quiet daughter is suddenly loud and rambunctious. at age 9 she gets to watch bokuto and akaashi get married. she’s the flower girl and she’s so happy to have bokuto as her second dad. she starts to wear tiny twin tail braids that bokuto does for her. its a little hard since her hair is so curly (since she takes after akaashi so much). at age 12 she has to get braces and boy is it quite a ride. she tries doing her own hair, and it ends with her hair always being a crazy mess that akaashi is trying to fix. she starts puberty this year and bokuto faints when she says she’s on her period. at 15 she starts at Furo academy (idk how to spell the name shrugs) she’s a first year setter who, like kageyama, outshines the third year setter. bokuto is the parent who yells the loudest in the audience. or he would be, but he’s the COACH OF THE TEA M AYYyy. (also plot twist, their manager is a guy). she wears her hair in a thick braid. she tries to straighten her hair to no avail. at 18, she graduates one of the top of her class and becomes the hottest member on the vb team. she cuts her hair for the fun of it and never goes back. akaashi and bokuto cry at the graduation.
