Pakistan Railways earn Rs 100 million in just two months
Saad Rafique, Railways Minister, has congratulated the entire team and workforce behind Pakistan Railways Information Technology Department for selling tickets through E-ticketing worth Rs. 100 million in just two months.
As revealed by the official sources from Pakistan Railways, the department has sold a massive total of 8,500 tickets through UBL Omni, credit cards and mobile accounts since the inauguration of E-ticketing system in the railways.
Pakistan Railways has facilitated the users to book the seats 24/7 in 51 big cities of the country. Moreover, it has been revealed that the people living in far off and underdog areas are assisting this facility for travelling, more than the other cities of Pakistan.
Saad Rafique has also ordered the IT department to give the same provision to the passengers of Akbar Bugti Express, Jaffar Express and Bolan Mail, which run from Quetta to other cities of the country.
