He hadn’t thought about running into her so quickly. If he was being honest Bruce thought that Natasha would have thrown herself back into work or something but he hadn’t expected to see her in the halls of Avengers tower when Tony had told him that the last he’d seen she was staying to the new base with Steve and the other new recruits. In reality, it was really Clint that had tipped him off to the fact that Natasha was even at the tower in the first place. Not that he’d helped at all to let Bruce know where the other former assassin was hiding in the multi-level tower so now Bruce was left hunting the halls for her himself while Clint longed in the living room playing more video games with Steve. 

Since Natasha didn’t stand sitting there doing nothing like Clint, she’s been in the training room since that morning. She’s been loosing track of time and spent half the day there. Well, at least she managed to distract herself and that’s what she really needed lately. And to not be alone with her thoughts again, she decided to go to Clint and watch a movie or play a game. But what she last expected to happen when the elevator doors opened was to run straight into Bruce.

Natasha brought Bruce to a mission. It should be easy enough for them, but they didn’t expect to end up in a Hydra base. It should’ve been an easy infiltrating mission, but her informant didn’t tell her it’s something Hydra related. But good for them -or actually good for Bruce- it’s just a little base and still easy enough to get in.

“Where’s everyone?” Asked Nat, when they noticed that the base was empty.

Natasha went to Bruce’s lab. He’s the only one of the team who’s still working at this hot day. Everyone were too lazy to do anything and he was crazy enough to work. “Hey doc. You and me go swimming now.”

It’s been another boring day at the office. Which meant taking out another Hydra base to look for Loki’s scepter. And something told her that they won’t find it here either. They took out many bases by now and it let them all wonder how many damn bases Hydra had.

The plan worked just as planned and they didn’t even need a code green. Nat had the most asses to kick. Not that she minded, but they were really stupid enough to think that she was the weakest just because she was a woman. “Need help, Nat?” Asked Clint through the comms.

“Nope. I’m perfectly fine over here.” She answered, before knocking another one out. Then the ran to the next Hydra group and one of them got a lucky hit on her side, but he wasn’t conscious enough to be happy about it. Nat hissed at the little wound, but told the other -who were asking if she’s okay- that she’s fine and can keep fighting.

Reunion on Sakaar I Closed

That was bullshit of its finest. Natasha didn’t even know where she was and how she got there, since she was unconscious most of the time but when she woke up she was locked up at some weird place with weird creatures...She heard something about ‘Sakaar’ but it didn’t tell her anything. She felt still dizzy from...whatever was in her system right now...and couldn’t really move either.

At some point people dragged her away and did more painful things with her. It kinda was like they pushed her currently self away and put someone else in that place. Someone who was just furious and wanted to fight and kill everyone in her way. Almost like the time where she was working for the KGB, but worse.

“Jus’ a bit.” Slurred the redhead and smiled at him weirdly bright.
