Today Bolivia Celebrates its National Flag Day! On August 17th, 1825 the Bolivian flag was created shortly after the country declared its independence from Spain. The banknote we feature today is the 10 bolivianos banknote! It illustrates famed Bolivian artist Cecilio Guzman de Rojas on the front and on the back is the monument "Heroinas de la Coronilla" located in the city of Cochabamba.
