Just this once Levi wasn't in a mood for playing games. He did not come here and ask the question out of boredom. That was a serious matter and if Erwin decided to treat it like a joke...

"I was being serious. Answer me." He demanded in a low, guttural voice, almost growling at his Commander. "Who are you to aim so high? Who are you to sacrifice so many lives for nothing, Erwin?" His fingers clenched at the brink of the Commander's desk.

The Captain was perfectly aware of how much disrespect he was showing to his superior, but couldn't really care less. He had to let it out, even if it meant being punished, because right now it was impossible for him to look at this man without seeing the face of his fallen comrades. First Farlan and Isabel. Now Petra, Auruo, Erd and Gin. It was all his fault.

"Fuck knows" he answered and ran a hand through the blond hair, itfelt horrible, different and he wasn't a fan of it one bit. His voice was different and even the whole view from the extra foot he was given. "Erwin..." he breathed and sat down on his bed, shaking his head as he looked down at the massive hands, 

He held his... no.. Erwin's.. no his head in the foreign hands, a raging headache running through it, crushing his head. "I remember everything... everything that happened to you" he frowned, just hoping Erwin couldn't see just how much Levi wanted to kill him on first meetings. 

"What the hell do we do?" he asked, surely he couldn't be trusted as the Commander. He hadn't even been picked to follow after him, it was Hanji.

Hanji watched Erwin as he looked down at the flower, completely transfixed by the piece of nature. She smiled when she saw his own one, the strong hand tightening around the stem, but it amazed her just how gentle he could be. 

"What's on your mind?" Hanji asked, moving forward and stroking the top of his right arm, leaning forward to kiss his cheek. "You can tell me" the woman offered herself, the flower still in her hair. The man had so much on his shoulders, never wanting to pass it on to anyone else, but maybe it was the passing of such a simple thing would be all he needed to let it out. "If it's worry about tomorrow... as long as we fight and look after each other together, then we should both return just like the other times. But you should know, none of us will blame you for not fighting" she tried to calm him, her had still on the bicep of his handicapped arm. 

They were able to modify his 3DMG so that he was able to use it with a single hand, but it was still just a trail run with them. "You're not as young as you were, you can still lead from your office. There's no need to retire, but you don't have to go out and fight" she added, moving her hand to stroke at his jaw with her thumb.

Levi woke up, his head spinning slightly. He didn't remember drinking, but it was the same sort of feeling as being hungover. Standing up, he walked to the bathroom, scratching his hair as usual. Doing what he did, Levi didn't look in the mirror until he had washed his hands and about to brush his teeth. "What the fuck" he frowned and leant closer, dropping the toothbrush in the bowl. 

This isn't right... 

He didn't even sound like himself, but he looked and sounded exactly like...

"Erwin!!" he called and pulled on a robe, heading out and down the hall to his room. It was a bazaar sight, seeing himself laying straight in his own bed... "Oi! Wake up!" Levi growled in Erwin's voice, leaning down to shake himself up.
