Jersey (NFC) bound
I've been working with the guys at Bolser (Ash who runs the firm is cycling The London Revolution with me) who have designed this rather fetching shirt to wear for the event. The Jersey will incorporate Near Field Communications tags - I believe a world first for the cycling fraternity. More details to follow exactly on what that means and how the NFC tag will work. The tops design includes a number of causes and supporters on the top including : - Vanessa Riddle - The courageous girl who needs the money to get life saving cancer treatment - Neuroblastoma Alliance : The organisation supporting Vanessa and her family - JustGiving : The easy way to give with a call to action to text a donation - 2012 Miles in 2012 : My overarching challenge for 2012 - The London Revolution : Because it's an iconic ride in an iconic year for London - SportingCircles : The Social Network for Sports Challenge Participants (www.sportingcircles.com) - Nokia & Bolser : The organisation behind the NFC technology being implemented in the shirt (see www.nfc-hub.com) - TheMAMIL.co.uk : This Blog! I'll take a photo of the actual top when it's ready. Hope you like it.
