Oh my god, y’all idk why my brain does this to me, but I’ve got a new ship, well ‘new’ ship, I think I’ve seen it floating around before but this is the first time I’ve seriously thought about it.
First off, LOOK AT THIS PICTURE:
This picture ruined my life, I took one look at tall Bomba and short Griz and I was forever changed.
THINK OF THE ANGST OF BOMBA AND GRIZ DATING AND THEN GRIZ LEAVING THE TRIBE WITHOUT TELLING BOMBA, AND THEN SHE COMES BACK YEARS LATER AFTER HER FAME DIDN’T WORK OUT. And like there’s hurt feelings but they still love each other, but then Griz gets picked for the Heaviside Layer AND IT’S SO BITTERSWEET AHHHHHHHHH.

#cats the musical#grizabella#bombalurina#grizalurina#bombbella#which one sounds better?#I think bombbella but idk#I'm adopting this into my griz sibling/dumbass macavity au where griz is supposed to become the next jellicle leader#griz and bomba fall in love and start dating#but griz is hiding her insecurities and the pressure of becoming the next leader#bomba suspects something is up but griz reassures her that everything is fine (it's not)#and eventually it culminates in griz leaving the tribe#and she doesn't tell anyone she's leaving not even bomba#and it builds this rift between them until years later when griz returns#and like bomba is still mad but she can't deny that she still loves griz#and like I said in the post griz gets picked for the heaviside and it's super bittersweet for both bomba and griz#it's like fate just wasn't in their favor but they know it's for the best#and I just AHHHHHHH#this is giving me so many feels and it's going in my au god damn it#I didn't think I'd get another griz ship because for the longest time it was just grizabone (grizabella/griddlebone) and that was it#but nope I got another#my original posts#my rambles#cats headcanons
