Got my assignments for next semester!

Goodbye Theatre world...

Next semester, I'm ASM for two fo the dance concerts and the Opera.

It's exciting! I've been wanting to do a dance concert, and the Opera is a premier. Like, original work premier. Love new work.

Just bummed I won't get a chance to work with any of my senior theatre friends. But hey, not I get to make dance and opera friends! Wheee!

Anyway, love Grimm.

Oh, and also, here's some audition information if you're interested:

AUDITION NOTICE:    BONESBALL an original multi-media musical production. An earlier version of this, Bones, was Off Broadway.  BonesBall is a super charged slice-of-life episode energized with the drama of "what is" and the zany possibility of choice.  This is being developed in Champaign for out of town production in addition to other outlets both live and media based.    CASTING:  all parts: charismatic 18 - 25 years old, male and female, must act, reasonable improv skills; experience or no experience is fine, but must have great work ethic.      -2 Lead dancers (trained in any style is ideal; hip hop/breakdancing a plus but not necessary, improv ability is ideal)      -2 Lead vocalists:  pop/gospel/R&B (able to act and move well)      -6 chorus members (able to move and act well)      -2 Beatboxers (able to move and act)      -1 male for spoken word Def Jam style (able to act, move well)   DIRECTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER:  Christine Rich       AUDITION LOCATION:  Christine Rich Studio  (no phone calls)                                   1402 Regency Dr West                                   Savoy, IL  61874                                                          Directions:                             http://www.christinerichstudio.com/studio/directions.php   AUDITION TIMES:  Please choose from either:                            Saturday, October 29, 2011 7:00 - 7:30 PM                                               or                            Sunday, October 30, 2011 2:00 - 2:30 PM                              Please arrive within the allotted time.  Complete an Information Form on the front desk to bring into the audition room.  You may also include a resume. Be prepared to sing a portion of a pop song acapella if a singer, or improv dance if doing hip hop or to show ability to move well (may bring a CD).  Actors should have prepared a 45 second or shorter monologue.     CALLBACK TIME:  Sunday, October 30 4:00 PM for choreography, direction, singing, etc.   REHEARSALS:  Saturday mid-afternoon and evenings, Sundays, possible daytime slots M-F.  This episode should be set fairly quickly.  One weekend TBA for rehearsals with out-of-state cast members from Los Angeles.
