Now all you bad as Mutha Fuckas listen up. Corpus Christi 2016 Alright so if you're ever passing through Corpus Christi TX, or plan on staying there for alloted amount of time. I would suggest stopping in to BoneShakers. Now this bar to me if it's in the Dive Bar category . .. here is why they are on my top 5 list. -They have Wi-Fi -And the stipulation is you basically HAVE to play Heavy Metal on the jukebox or else you will get dirty looks. - It is the (artistically speaking) beautiful dive bars I've ever been in. -The staff are fantastic ,the owners have a great soul (and can play numerous instruments like a champ) - drinks are cheap, and I don't know how he (the owner) does it , but he gets some amazing bands to headline for their twice a month shows. AND HERE IS THE KICKER it's one of my favourites. So just come check it out if you're ever in Corpus . Boneshakers

Hey guys & gals, your favorite entertainment blogger has officially captured some great moments last night at the 2016 Steel City Jazz Festival.

I oftentimes hear people say that events just keep getting better and better. This is truly an understatement with the Steel City Jazz Festival. Steel City Jazz Fest Organizer Cedric Allen and his Steel City Jazz Fest team truly outdid themselves with this festival. The audience and artist roster was diverse and consisted of some of the most well sought out jazz artists in the world. Everyone I spoke with were in great spirits and the atmosphere was incredible.

One thing that makes the Steel City Jazz Fest unique is the artist – fan interactions. I’ve been to a number of concerts and the artist-fan interaction at Steel City Jazz Fest doesn’t compare to anything I’ve seen before. At the end of the performances, most artists stick around and do a meet & greet with the fans, sign autographs, and take pictures. Getting a chance to pose with your favorite jazz artist is truly a neat bonus for the price. This is the event you bring your lawn chairs out and just dance the night away to the best jazz on the planet.

#CapturedTheMoment – Mindi Abair

While sitting on the side of the stage taking pictures, I couldn’t pass up #capturingthemoment with multiplatinum recording artist, Mindi Abair. I must admit, Mindi Adair is probably the BEST female saxophonist I’ve run across in years. This darling starlet has made headlines with her performances on American Idol, The Late Show with David Letterman and because of her live performances with Aerosmith and Bruce Springsteen. Adair has truly worked with THE BEST in the industry.

Abair has already recorded seven solo albums and received multiple Grammy nominations for her amazing works.  Abair was joined on stage with the incredible sounds of #BONESHAKERS! The chemistry between this group was absolutely eclectic. I’ve never seen a group that has so much fun on stage. The groovy bass lines and funky jazz cuts definitely made Mindi Abair an Bone Shakers and instant success at the 2016 #SteelCityJazz Fest.

#CapturedTheMoment – Boney James

I got a chance to #CaptureTheMoment briefly with four-time Grammy Award Winner Boney James before his smoking hot set. If you’ve never heard of him, I have to admit, Boney James has such an amazing talent and personality that he continuously breaks music barriers. His dance routines, soulful ballads, and just great personality is probably the reason he already has won four Grammy Awards and was recognized by Billboard Magazine (2009) as one of the TOP jazz artists of all time. Boney James isn’t an artist to isolate himself. He’s very spontaneous and fans LOVE IT!
