*Video from Guilty People* We’re going to give you our top 15 picks for can’t miss shows at Bonnaroo (which is really hard with a lineup like that), in no particular order. And yeah, you should see Arcade Fire and Lil Wayne, but these are some others. Twin Shadow / Thursday, June 9th @ 10:00 PM on This Tent I've known of Twin Shadow for a while now. I put up at least one of his videos here on the site, and have always appreciated his music. BUT, if I had chosen my Bonnaroo list prior to this past weekend, he may not have been on it. Nothing against him, it's just that with so many great acts he likely would not have made our precious top 15 (I'm sure George Lewis is reading this somewhere and sobbing #NotLikely). So what changed my mind? SASQUATCH. I'm sure you've been waiting for me to drop that S bomb here since our twitter is a freaking love affair to the festival. So to save your gag reflexes from flaring up, I'll focus more on his show than on the beautiful and harmonious heaven cloud that is Sasquaaaaaaatch. Twin Shadow's show was one of the weekend's highlights. His sound, swagger and showmanship make any concert of his one not to miss. And while I'm kind of embarassed to admit it, I may or may not have stalked him a bit in the artist tent. What was I supposed to do, NOT compulsively stare at him?? (At least I didn't point...N always says I have a pointing problem). I see Bonnaroo as just another opportunity to hear some great music and drool a little bit (or a lot, depending on how the weekend goes). If you're like me (cool, calm and casual), you'll love this show - just bring a bib for the drool. | b
