Ján Pernecký | Constraint design: a novel modular approach to the data-driven design
"Computational design is an emerging approach to architecture that allows for unprecedented complexity while preserving meaningful deterministic decision-making. The new role of a computational architect is to design and harness the „creative machine”, making sure it makes no mistake while creating something utterly new, complex and strictly meaningful. Ján specializes in generative and parametric architecture and design, software development and creation of interactive art installations. He is active in the international scene of the industry; teaches architecture, parametric design and programming at several universities and independent events; lectures and publishes works about the theory of architecture. He co-founded the Subdigital creative studio (2016), whose team applies knowledge and skills gained from experimental and academic projects."
