I think so too. Like this is all meant to be like background action that will later be like revealed to be related either to Angela’s investigation or making Tyrell necesary for the runaround with Steel Mountain.

But still it’s like the most deviated plot in the show at the moment.

It’s no like he needed to be around to actually know who the suited man was. Truth is, it’d be foolish for the hacktivist to not know and he’d prefer to think of himself as far from a fool. Despite it all, the graying man pushes the half empty flask into his pocket and smirks walking into the other’s path.
