Everybody deals with situations differently. My feeling whether it is with a tragedy or a miracle, a nightmare or dream, is to write. Writing is so therapeutic and for me, the best release. Green Skies Glow came so naturally to me, I could almost feel it pouring out with every note and every word. It seems the most personal songs do come out the best.The day after Jason’s wake, while emotions were fresh - I went to the nearest studio and banged out drums and basic guitars for GSG. After the fact I was able to meet with my band mates Marc, Jesse, and Alex to complete this track and while we were at it I figured let’s make this a double single and record This Night I Call Bad Luck. This was something I wasn’t sure on releasing, but the more I thought about it and the more I put into it, I said this needs to be heard. I have to thank a lot of people for helping this come to fruition. As I grow as an artist, the more people I usually have help out in certain cases, the more it comes out larger than life.
