no matter how much I did not like the vk manga I really loved how it kept showing Yuki being so torn between 'what is' and 'what it should be' that she started mixing up her duty as the Vampire Princess as something she is familiar with and should love doing even though she missed her human life the most— the reason even in her vampire form [long hair] she looked so miserable for someone who claimed it is her original state. Later when she goes back to her human form [shorter hair] she is seen to be more honest and mixing with the people she missed.

now it's a bit delusional of me but as a shipper let me strengthen my point of yukizero by saying how

It also played into how she was with kaname, at first because she had this attachment to her saviour but later it turned into a duty which she realized she must uphold like her parents did with eachother.

That's also why she kept remembering zero and became significantly relieved after mixing with him again. Honestly I would like to say she looked somewhat like a living dead doll when she was apart from him, same with zero who transformed into an emotionless killing machine

no like kaname pulled that whole incest shit which made more than half of the viewers hate the show just to forget all the "we and Yuki should be married and together like our parents" vows he made and admit that he played an active role for the meetup of zero and Yuki to be successful and later made them marry eachother for their own sakes ?? 😭 dawg abandoned the role of a 'brother' just to play to some chapters later. Double it and give it to my future self type shit.

I should have stopped craving VK after the anime because the manga is full of plotholes and half assessed plot points like what. But hey I guess I won because my ship fucking sailed?? #neverlosehope
