One of the greatest athletes that ever lived died today. He is one of the few hockey players that was so popular that he made it into main stream media. He was 84 years old.
In social media people were bringing up his past. It seems he was married a few times and had a bit of a temper. I'm not here to talk about that, we should let him rest in peace. I'm here to teach astrology. So let's assume for a minute that the early allegations about his temper were true. You can read about it with a simple search. What aspect in his chart would make him lash out at people?
As we can see from the chart Mars is at 14 degrees Scorpio. Mars in Scorpio can be controlling, vindictive, strong willed and determined to get what you want at any price. Mars is also directly opposing Uranus. Mars is a physical planet...great for playing hockey and beating up on your opponents but not so great when it comes to controlling anger. The Uranus opposition makes his anger unpredictable.
Sudden unpredictable outbursts of anger is typical of this aspect. These two planets are also on his nodes so they played a signifcant part in his life. Add to that an inconjunct to his moon and a woman (moon) would be the trigger for these outbursts.
