Saturday Night Lights. I've thought about broken knees, hindered captainship & other shortcomings for months on end. Watching a flawless set come together without your body in the mix has been a humbling experience to say the least. I had considered Physical Leadership and Stage Presence necessary factors in a captain. Last night I was taught different. My family reminded me of the embodiment of words, the fluidity of parenting, the capacities of the human body and spirit. My team got first place at Elements XVII and despite my body being on the sidelines, I saw myself splattered all over that stage.
