am i the only one who wishes there were at least more POV Bran in asos, affc or adwd which indicates the scenery and views of all places beyond the wall and north and it makes it more unsettling because brans POV for me has best horror elements like Sams did initially due to seeing and roaming in lands where nobody ever has been as stark, and even jon doesn't know or has been to obv the places where hodor and bran and their gang travels, i could not be the only one wishing more of those chapters with reeds and their backstories too and more ominous things happening, and bran warging into summer, living and resting in abandoned cold northern forts or places they can find, getting away from wights or the others, and seeing more of the myths that were coming true in front of them like the children of forest??? More of the cave, where they lived? and more of its descriptions. the cold, the weather, the atmosphere, the landscapes, the forest and ravens following them or the bizarre animals they see, more of the abandoned villages they would come across, more of their adventure with coldhands or them hunting/looking for food while always a threat of an outside force hangs on them loose, more of the northern spooky imagery beyond the wall, the flora, the animals LITERALLY EVERYTHING about that geographical region was intrigue and mystic.
Book!Bran has the most magical/horror/curious/prophetic/ out of political mess story/plotline and i think grrm did the most excellent job writing his arc as child with no interest now in worldly ambitions of ruling being king, or having any other state of emotion other than what he has ofc he occasionally misses his family and his ability to walk and dreams of *knighthood* .....but i think bran is strongest young character too along with others we always mention. He also has now, a god-like duty or visions entrusted to him but throughout loved HIS POVS and would have loved more if they were elaborated!!!! ??? non stop action ngl.
