Trying to practice drawing kisses… ✍️

I really like the expressions… 😚❣️🫶

It's a WIP, so the poses are tentative right now. I'll refine the rest later 👍

I'll post again when I make more significant changes and update things to my liking :3 Since I'm planning to clean up and redraw stuff.

I always draw their headphones last. The initial one I drew had an expression that's more insane/unhinged. So it feels more fitting for something like a comic instead.

I usually draw with bigger shapes nowadays, like the right one. It has a clearer silhouette and thicker line weights

For me, bigger shapes are easier to read, especially when sketching.

I sketched the left one (with more detailed hair strands) first. It looks really nice too :3

I always debate if my art WIPs should go on my side (@stepswowdsen) or on main tbh, but Ig they can go here for now. 🤔

Drawing kisses are pretty fun for me, but it can be hard to draw sometimes.

Since even little details can change the mood and atmosphere of a piece considerably… 💭

Cuz there's so many ways you can stylize a monstrous/inhuman chara's tongue 🐍

I tend to lean into certain styles for drawing a forked snake tongue on a humanoid chara.

Was planning on making the last one them wearing Việt Phục… 👘

I really like the expressions, one feels passionate and the other one feels tender… 😌❣️

I'm planning to have them wearing Việt Phục in the 2nd one, but I'm a bit indecisive whether to make them wear Nón quai thao or not.

Since it'd partially obscure their hair 🤔

I might have them wear big hats for a different piece instead if it's more fitting… 💭
