Current book woes: 13.99 for ebook, 5.37 for paperback. 

Come on big publishers....ebooks are a viable option. If Baen books can pull off awesome ebook prices, so can you.

Book Nerd Issue: Dreams

You have a recurring dream that there is a secret room in your house. This room is a ‘Beauty and the Beast’ style library. There are deep, plush sofas to sit on. The books are all leather-bound and identically sized and shaped. Even the copies of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ and the Mills and Boon collection that you usually hide behind more prestigious copies of ‘Wuthering Heights’ and ‘Persuasion’.  There is adequete lighting, with twinkling reading lamps placed exactly to avoid dark corners, shadows and eyestrain. Complete silence is enforced for maximum concentration... The whole room smells of pizza. 

Oh, if only you didn’t have to wake up...

That lovely little jolt you get in your book lovers gut when you close the last page on an amazing book. Then the swift depression that comes afterwards, as the full implications of it being over hit you.
