Can we all take a moment to give this beautiful edition of War and Peace some heart eyes? 😍 I am so excited to finally read a novel by Tolstoy, and I couldn't be more in love with this edition. This translation is by the Maude sisters who actually worked closely with Tolstoy which led me to choose this edition. Have you read any Tolstoy? Do you have a preferred translation?

I did it! I read the second book and I was pleasantly surprised. I had heard that this one was better but my expectations were really low.
