After starting and stopping for years with this book I finally finished reading (and annotating) this version of Hamlet by William Shakespeare (I have a few more old ones of this play) and I’m so proud of myself. Annotations of books - Experiments

When I first began exploring this idea of annotating the book pages, I was a bit hesitant on whether it would create the effect I wanted. However, the more pages I annotated the more i began to like how this not only allows me to show the read how i interpret the descriptions and conversations, but also encourages them to use their imagination. I liked this idea because it allows them to have a better understanding on how books encourage me to use my own imagination. This method also shows my love and enthusiasm for reading.

I decided to use a blue highlighter to outline the phrase I expanded on because blue is the colour I relate to the Percy Jackson series. By using a colour I linked to the book, I wanted to connect it to my concept, of my relationship with books.
