I love this tiny press although it came with a few issues. (I anticipated some of them though).
First, it's not a super massive press. The metal feels kind of soft and not super strong, but it doesn't need to be! The base is 13cm x 9cm and it's 11,5cm high in total. The pressing area 11cm x 7,5cm. I planned this one for tiny books and I assume it will build up enough pressure for those any time. The wood is a little warped, considering that this tiny thing is probably not from this millenium, I actually expected that. The biggest issues is, that the upper board is broken and threatens to split completely. I don't think I can use it before that is fixed. Which means either replacing the wood or some sort of repair. I'll try to glue it back together first. If that doesn't hold, I'll try to simply nail a metal plate under it. That would also fix any warp. If none of that helps the board can still be replaced.
