We thankfully were able to bring this gorgeous little human being home from hospital this week. So that is always amazing. On a different note, she has been through so much, most people will never go through in their whole life and she is 3. She has fought a damn hard fight and unless you have been in that room with me and her dad when doctors tell you they dont think she is going to make the night, and i only wish it was once but Eve has nearly died 7 times, sepsis 5 times, cardiac arrest, renal failure, 3 major diaphragm operations. Then you really have no idea of what having a child with major complications is like. She looks normal and well most of the time so do people with many conditions physical and mental conditions, we talk about raising awareness but alot of people are shallow and cold and make judgmentson what they think they see. Eve does not need your sympathy but she deserves your respect. To belittle her when you have no understanding is wrong.I set these pages up because i am so proud of Eve and the amazing things she achieves, and maybe some people are to narrow minded to see how hard it is everyday for Eve, the children like her and the parents and families that are too busy supporting and taking care of their family, we dont have time to tell everyone how bloody hard it is. But as each of these parents and families know they are worth every worry, each hospital admission, the nights that you dont sleep and feel sick with adrenaline. I would take every bit of the pain if i could but i would change a hair on her beautiful head. She is perfect to me.
