New pillow that I bought for my bed. Did I partially buy it because it has renditions of the gorgeous Penguin Clothbound Classics on it? You bet your ass I did. I think those are some of the most gorgeous and graphically pleasing recent mass publications. I would love to have bunches of them 😍I mean, also, it's just a fun and colorful pillow for the bed, and i like fun and i like colors and soft squishy things on the bed, so really this ticks all the boxes.

Bought. It.#yes - of COURSE I checked before I bought it.#Because I do NOT need that particular clothbound classic. That one I might as soon chuck out the window #and i do not need a pillow that lies to people.#However - the pillow references: P&P - the picture of Dorian Gray - S&S- Jane Eyre- Tess of the d'Urbervilles- Cranford- Emma...#and bottom of the pile is Great Expectations #I would love having all those editions. i always contemplate getting these editions and then i cop out #because i already own some of them in other editions and it feels wasteful to spend money on books i already have #even if i love them #but if i get a gift card for a bookstore this holiday - i HAVE DECIDED™ that i will get the Jane Austen ones if i can #they will make me happy just to look at them #these editions give me the grabby hands #books #pretty books #pillows #i have been on a pillow buying spree tbh - but the bed will look cute #bookish stuff #bookish design

Look what I got in the mail a few days ago 😍

I had the pleasure of designing this super cute enamel necklace pendant for Uppercase Book Box and I’m so grateful to Lisa for sending me a few so I can see the final outcome in person!

It was my first time designing with enamel and I’m gonna be really honest here, I struggled A LOT! I’m not very familiar with the rules and methods of designing for such a format so it took a few turns before we got to a design that actually worked 😅

It was a fantastic challenge for me and I’m so grateful that Lisa was happy with me to play around with it and go back and forth even past our deadline, just to make sure we had everything right 🙌🏽
