🇬🇧I got this book as an earlier (really early 😂) birthday present from a dear friend of mine, and I was so excited!!! Treasure Island is a classic in both the classics genre, and the Pirate Novels genre. I don’t have a really big obsession with pirates (maybe a medium obsession... with Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Swan👀) but I do love a good adventure story!! Have you read it?? . . Do you usually prefer minimalistic book covers, or busy book covers? I’m usually more drawn to simpler book covers, that have a bold detail, like the color, or the title. This doesn’t mean I don’t like book covers with a lot of art or details, but I usually look for the simpler but bold@book cover first, instead of the one that makes my eyes hurt with so much detail 😅 And my biggest book cover pet peeve is when the authors name is bigger than the book title 😩 UGH!! I get that it’s a marketing stunt for the most popular authors, and what not but I hate it! Especially since, when I browse for new books, I look for titles that are appealing to me.
