I have actually never heard of this author and had to do a bit of research. I'm intrigued. Have you read any of his other works before? What country do you live in, if you don't mind me asking. I'm wondering if he exposure to this author has to do with geographical location. @jabber-who-key have you heard of this author before?
Oh, interesting! I have heard of Tolstoy. I've never read anything from him, but I know the name lol. It makes sense though. I live in the United States and our education is much more focused on American authors so our exposure to outside authors is more limited, in my opinion and experience anyway. American and British authors are the brunt of what we get lol.
Because this is the only way I can do it quickly on mobile lol. Not gonna lie, I haven't exactly finished the book yet. And this is definitely going to be something up for discussion next week, but currently for me my favorite thing is his writing style, his voice. I haven't been this hooked on a book since Harry Potter. And I am so sad that it's not a series. But I want to read his other stuff!
