Why does AO3 do this?
Like, are they waiting for authentication on the accounts or something? Is there just lag time? This happens for a lot of my stories not just these two. Stories that have no been active for years will show one number of bookmarks in the Stats section that only I can see, and then a completely different number on the story itself. What’s up with that? Do some accounts have “private bookmarks” or something like that? Or is this just a glitch?
