Sending a very big thank you to @berkleypub for gifting me THE BOOKISH LIFE of NINA HILL by Abbi Waxman. Nina Hill is quirky yet confident, book obsessed, twenty nine year old who lives with her cat named Phil. Her love of reading started when she was a child, as she was mostly left alone with her nanny because her “mother” was always too busy traveling the world as a photographer. Now Nina has the best job ever, she works in a bookshop and when she is not reading she is either at her book club or trivia night. When the father Nina never knew existed suddenly dies, leaving behind many sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews, Nina, the introvert, is horrified because they all—or mostly all—are very excited to meet her! This book is the most charming I have read all year! The author, @abbiwaxman is so darn witty that she had me laughing out loud on numerous occasions. It was such a pleasure to tag along on Nina Hill’s adventures. If you love books about books, which I have a sneaking suspicion most of you do 😉, and if you enjoyed Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, then this book is probably right up your alley! . . . . . . . . . #thebookishlifeofninahill #abbiwaxman @randomhouse #bookworthreading #bookrecomemdations #booknerdsunite #ninahill #readthisbook (at Palm Springs, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/B3Xke34Hnb0/?igshid=1b72z0pds7xqc
