The bookshop smelled of a combination of almond and vanilla – the classic old book smell. Because of newer stock there was also a hint of new book smell. Both pleased the petite brunette as she entered the store. Aquene had passed this place several times since relocating to Vale, but today had been the first time that she had the time to venture in.

Her footsteps were quiet as she moved further in to look around. There had been no one behind the register that she had seen, but a chime had sounded when she had entered. Someone would have heard, she assumed, so she ventured in to see what this place had to offer.

Her book collection needed to be built back up as she had to get rid of some for the move. Hopefully there were a few tragic romances.

Santa bear (certainly not Junior with his hair sprayed white) brings Kit the gift of some fine leather boots, and some supplies for making bubble tea at home.

Kitra maybe possibly gave Hei an odd sort of look before smirking and nudging him playfully. “No Santa suit for the Santa Bear, mm?” she asked. The boots were on her feet soon after getting them, and the kit for making bubble tea at home was set next to her. That would be broken into a little later. 

For now she had someone to thank for her gifts.

So I can’t do backgrounds when running on two hours of sleep.

Anyway, this is all thanks to the rp I have going on with @books-bars-and-alcohol. Kit would have stolen some sunglasses for this li’l stunt buuuut... ...well, honestly the red glasses looked on on her.

I have no regrets with this. none at all. Other than getting the height wrong. Kit only comes up to his collar bone. Barely. WHOOPS. Next time I’ll check the Wikia before doing anything.

Hei was too tired to really question what was going on too much, so decided it would probably be best to go back to sleep and deal with it in the morning. So he closed his eyes again and got comfy.

“Just… don’t wake me…”

There was another grunt from the Faunus and she quite happily went on to sleep. Of course, when the first rays of morning light came through it revealed the Kitra hd pressed herself against the bartender, her face hiding from the light.

A morning person Kitra was not. A clingy, cuddly, sleepy kitty? Quite possibly.
