I was tagged by @bethanyactually and of course I am gonna jump at the chance to do a book related meme! :) It may be surprising to people that as much of a bookworm as I am I don’t own an abundance of them. I am someone who gets anxiety by a lot of clutter and owning things that don’t mean a lot and/or serve a purpose so my book shelf is mostly books I truly cherish and love, and then trinkets. However that being said I am very into this idea so let’s go!
1. If you go top-to-bottom, left-to-right, what is the very first book on the top shelf?
Okay so my shelves are weird cube styles so “rows” don’t totally make sense but I grabbed the top most and left most book,which is We Can Do It! Words From Awesome Women
2. Did you buy it yourself, or was it a gift?
I did buy this one myself, I was browsing a shop in London a few years ago for a gift for my mom and found this one and just really enjoyed it.
3. Now take the book that’s fifth-from-the-right on the second shelf. What book is it?
The (Other) F Word: A Celebration of the Fat & Fierce edited by Angie Manfredi a collection of essays from fat people about living life as a fat person.

Not a character but the author herself, who I would say nerdy, witty and fun are words that describe her and her writing pretty well.

Again middle(ish) makes little to no sense on myself but I’ll just go in a general area and mention Attachments by Rainbow Rowell

I have read it! I loved it, but if you know me and how easily the movie Rocketman took over my life in the last year that’s not a shocker. I even have this book signed by the actor who played Elton in the movie, Taron Egerton, who I got to meet in October at a comic con. It’s probably one of my favorite things I own on my shelf!
